 Born and raised in Nassau County, Dr. Matthew Molar has always had a deep passion for helping fellow New Yorkers. Growing up, he welcomed trips to the dentist where he received smiles (and stickers) from the very friendly staff. After a hockey accident in college forced him to visit another practice which was far less inviting, Dr. Molar realized just how important a warm office environment is in making a patient feel at ease. After graduating from the University of Vermont, Dr. Molar completed his dental studies at the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Opening his own practice in 1983, he had just one goal - to give his clients great oral health with a smile.
Seeing her father's passion, Dr. Marissa Molar (Matthew's oldest daughter) joined the practice in 2005 and she now services our smallest patients as a pediatric specialist. Marissa graduated second in her class from Arizona State University and received her D.D.S. from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Molar's wife, Katherine serves as the practice's office manager. A natural born caretaker, she loves making sure all patients receive the highest level of care and personal attention. She can often be found on the phone following up with patients or even baking fresh cookies to share with office visitors. |
